Brock Lesnar’s UFC Return Confirmed

Dana White and Brock Lesnar both appeared on SportsCenter on ESPN this morning, and confirmed that Brock Lesnar will return to a UFC ring this summer. He will face the winner of the Frank Mir vs. Shane Carwin fight, which takes place at UFC 111 on March 27, 2010.

UFC Heavyweight Champion Brock Lesnar has been released from the hospital and is home in Alexandria, Minn., his chiropractor Larry Novotny told the Associated Press. Brock Lesnar’s January fight with Shane Carwin has been postponed once again due to the illness he has been suffering from over the past months.  BloodyElbow.com is reporting the illness Lesnar is suffering from is mononucleosis and he is not expected to be fully recovered in time for the January fight.
